The only way to completely remove the risk of rust corrosion is to remove the moisture from the atmosphere. Here at Autovault we have two very large de-humidifiers, one per floor, that circulate the whole volume of air inside the car storage building once every hour and a half. These run continuously and automatically cut in when the relative humidity rises to 55% or above. Below this figure rust does not form.

One of the major advantages with Autovault car storage is that our buildings have been purpose designed. This means that we don’t have to make compromises with old and unsuitable materials or building features. The interior is a sealed masonry skin, with painted walls and floors, the car storage structure is supported on a steel frame, and the exterior enjoys a traditional looking feather-edge barn style cladding. The building naturally blends in with its surroundings and consequently does not draw attention to its real use.

The car preparation building and the ambient air store all follow the same appearance and are contained within a huge tarmac and landscaped parking area, surrounded by a steel backed security fence.

We have also been able to incorporate all the latest security equipment into the design to maintain a permanent and comprehensive surveillance presence, which will guarantee your car will be completely safe whilst locked away in our Autovault storage facilities!

Often, storage companies will not permit occasional use whilst the car is still within a storage contract. Here at Autovault we have designed this use into the facility. With a minimum of 24 hours notice a member of staff will take the car out of storage and place it in our preparation building, then carry out any services required to make the vehicle available to the client during working hours, or outside hours by appointment. Upon return, the client can leave the vehicle in our CCTV monitored compound and let themselves out with the keypad operated security gate, safe in the knowledge that whilst on the Autovault storage premises their car is protected by our comprehensive insurance policy with the AON, and high quality security features.

We can have a vehicle transported to or from any destination Europe-wide, by an immensely experienced operator using a discreet covered transporter.
